Lapis Blue Cane Platter

Micah and I pulled some lapis blue cane and picked it up and blew it into a nice platter. I don't have pictures of the platter yet but here's a few picts of the piece in progress. The last photo is is transparent ruby red platter in process with a lapis blue body wrap lip wrap.

Well which is a body wrap or a lip wrap!?

I kid, but am confused by the "copper ruby red" being kind of a blue color with the lap blue. I assume that it is going to turn more red as it cools?

Also, do you put your puntie on a stand while you roll the body wrap I can keep my assistant still enough to get a good tight body wrap like that.

Hey Scott, good to hear from you. I am having a hard time getting your comment to publish. Here's a response to you questions.

The last photo of the ruby red platter with the lapis blue body wrap does look like a blue bowl but the color is Reichenbach Gold Ruby Extra. It does look blue when hot but its ruby red.
